Cookie Notice
Last updated: 30 May 2026
What cookies we use, and why. Short answer: only what's strictly necessary for the site to work. No tracking, no analytics, no marketing pixels.
What cookies we use
We use only strictly necessary cookies — the minimum required for the website to function. We do not use marketing cookies, advertising trackers, third-party analytics cookies, or social media pixels.
- session — Maintains your session as you navigate the site (so things like flash messages and your bill upload status work). Strictly necessary. Expires when you close your browser.
- csrf_token — Protects forms (bill upload, Fight Back form, contact form) against cross-site request forgery attacks. Strictly necessary. Expires when you close your browser.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function, no consent is required under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). You can block cookies in your browser settings if you wish — though doing so will prevent forms from working correctly.
What we don't do
We don't track you across the web. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, or any similar tracking tools. We don't build advertising profiles. We don't sell behavioural data.
If we ever introduce optional cookies in future (such as analytics), we will update this notice and ask for your consent before setting them.
